XPS 8900, upgrade from OEM GTX 745 GPU

Hello,

I have Dell XPS 8900 with Nvidia GTX 745

I bought Samsung UR55 4k monitor ( 2 HDMI 2.0, Display Port ) HDR capable

I can use 4k at 60hz if I turn on Freesync from the monitor but Stream HDR video is still off...I turn on HDR but didn't success. I think I need a better graphic card to stream hdr videos...can someone tell me which gpu card should I upgrade? I don't play game. I will buy used one...price under 200$ HDR noHDR noScreenshot (59).png

@Chai88  Please press the blue Accept as Solution button below if this post answers your question.

Yeston RX550 is the only card I would recommend. Got one of these for my nephew so he could play games and its very good.

Yeston  RX550

There are better cards but most "good" cards are crazy expensive still.

Here are the minimum hardware requirements to play or stream 4K UHD Videos:

Monitor or TV with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 or higher

Anything above Intel 4th Generation (Haswell based CPU) or AMD A10 – 7800 APU Geforce

GTX 750ti (Geforce GTX 970 recommended) graphic card 4GB and more RAM

Hey

so dell guys wont tell you this or even know it,

but you can turn on HDR on a 745.

You need a higher version HDMI cable (chances are you arent using this)

then turn on HDR

if that doesnt work, theres a DELL HDMI 2.0 to Displayport adapter, which will allow you to HDR
