When will the updated BIOS to fix Intel Microcode 0x129 update be available for XPS 8960 devices?
I know Intel has released a fix over a week ago. I see that there is a new BIOS update available as of yesterday for the XPS 8960, but I don't believe it contains the Intel microcode fix as the BIOS update is only listed as 'Recommended' and doesn't mention the microcode issue at all. On the other hand, the BIOS update released for OptiPlex systems yesterday is marked 'Critical' and clearly mentions it fixes the voltage issue.

The fact that dell is unaware of this issue made me wonder how late and unresponsive they are in responding to customer’s complaints! The microcode has been released to other users & manufacturers since 8th Aug. I have an Alienware Aurora R15 I9-13900KF RTX4090 and i cannot play a game for more than 10-15 mins without a crash or dx12 error all they care about is to pay for the warranty so that they could scan your pc for outdated drivers :D never going to buy alienware ever again :)
