Xenith Printer Driver name too long
Xenith Printer Driver name too long
Hi,
We are attempting to connect to SMB printers, however the driver name is too long for the Printer ID field (it doesn't allow us to type in enough charectors).
Any great ways to get around this?

I'm not sure this will work on Xenith devices, but WTOS has a parameter called PrinterMap= which is described in the WTOS INI reference guide as follows:
PrinterMap=a text file name (or possibly URL): A text file to be included to define printer mappings. Each line in the file is of format Printer Identification=Printer Driver Name. For example:
HL-1240 Series=HP LaserJet.
You can also go to www.wyse.com/kb and under the Knowledge base tab, search for 24377 for an example.
