RDP as /admin (console 0)

Hello, I need to start my DELL Wyse 5070 thin client (Windows IOT) with an RDP session toward a server,  but I need to connect with mstsc /admin in order to access console operations on the remote PC.

In the DELL Wyse tool it is possible to autostart RDP but I can't find a valid /admin option.

If I try to start RDP using a batch file such as:

MSTSC /Admin filename.rdp /f

the application does not autostart as user "User" because "User" can't access disk C, therefore the bat file nor the rdp file are found. An RDP file is needed in order to automatically store the user/password credentials.

Any ideas to help me? Thank you.

Is your WYSE terminal going to be located on premises always? If so, and you have an AD domain....

You could set a policy in WMS to domain join the terminal and then make the terminal user sign in with their domain credentials. That way it would feel like a normal computer to the user. Then with the terminal joined to the domain, you could give the domain user the appropriate admin rights in Group Policy so that the RDP session initializes on login.
