WMS 4.0, HF 2 upcoming

Dear Customer, We are releasing a second hotfix for Wyse Management Suite 4.0 (WMS 4.0 HF2) to address several known issues impacting customers, including:

• Firmware info displaying as blank when choosing to hide inherited items

• Inability to save DHC 2.0 policy after upgrading to WMS 4.0 HF

• When upgrading to WMS 4.0, parent-child inheritance breaks when a policy changes

• Filtering administrators by ‘Name’ column causes an internal error

• When post upgrading to WMS 4.0, the existing landscape configuration policy in WMS throws a validation error

• Server interrupts download of Devices report export to CSV

• On-premises SMTP email alerts don’t work in WMS 3.8

• Inability to receive email alerts from WMS based on rules In addition to bug fixes,

 

WMS 4.0 HF2 includes the following enhancement:

• Added ‘Parent Group’ as an additional field returned by Device Details API

 

Timing: The US1 public cloud update will begin on Friday, February 24th 2023, at 9:30 PM PST. Customers using WMS Pro Cloud with US1 subscriptions should expect no downtime.
