Error when trying to "Get Device Image": UID:rapport Unable to open FTP Server
Hello:
I have taken over a Wyse Device Manager deployment, and am trying to add new Wyse Thin Clients to our current Zero Client environment. I am trying to "Get Device" configuration from a Thin Client that I am connecting to, that I can see in Device manager, but When I run the Package Wizard, I get the following error.
"Unable to connect to FTP Repository.
UID:rapport-Unable To Open FTP Server:172.X.X.X
The FTP server (IIS server and the Wyse Device Manager application are on the same server. I have googled this error, but so far have not had any luck troubleshooting. Other than his, Wyse Device manager seems to be running pretty well.

I've found this too.
Just reset the password for the local Windows user "rapport" and then enter the password in the Wyse Device Manager -> Configuration Manager -> Software Repositories -> MASTER (hint: Right click and select "Properties").

I have found that the UserID Rapport may have either expired or its password requires changing caused this issue for me. Hope that helps ya!
