Any help appreciated! Can't see clients in WDM4.8

Any help appreciated! Can't see clients in WDM4.8

I've recently taken over responsibility for administering to something in the region of 100 Wyse terminals (various models going back to WinCE 5.0 but mostly V30's by the looks of things) and I'm having some real difficulties getting the units to show up on WDM 4.8

It looks like my predecessor gave it a shot and gave up because of problems that occured on the network with WSUS and WDM on the same network (I'm told they conflicted somehow with PXE). WDM 4.8 is installed on a standard XP PC that is attached to the network rather than a server. Is this likely to be a problem? Can you think of any reason we can't have WDM and WSUS on the same internal network?

Almost all of the clients have different (out of date) firmware installed and policy has been not to update if it works. Is there an application/agent that needs to be flashed to all of the units to get them to report in?

I'd really like to get this working although I'll admit I'm a fairly novice user of WDM. I'd really appreciate any suggestions of things to look for.. thank you.

I can add in clients manually now which is an improvement but we have over a hundred to configure so a way of scanning the network would be very helpful!
I'm currently using DHCP options - 186, configured as an IP address and 192, configured as a Byte Array with value 0x00,0x50, using default port 80 (as suggested on another forum) but still no luck.
