Normally it does not hurt anything to leave them there.  If you are 100% sure of what you are doing, you can remove them.  If you are not having any issues, I would leave them alone.

Right On, Bro.  I really do not know how to phrase this sentence without it being taken as an insult, but I will go ahead.  If you need to ask the question, then the answer is leave it alone.

lvhkyjr2:  There are several registry cleaners available to you.  Some are free and some are shareware.

I use jv16pt v.1.3, this is free for private use, but is not going to be available for long.  The newer version (1.4) will cost you 30 USD.  It is easy to use and any 'fixing' that you do is fully restorable.  I have used it for a couple of years and never have had any trouble with it.

The free version MAY still be available from www.majorgeeks   Download and install it, use the default settings, READ THE DIRECTIONS. and you will be all set to clean your registry.

You will be amazed at the number of useless and obsolete entries there are in your registry.  V.1.3 is buggy and sometimes will not remove the selected entries.  Be patient and try again later.  It will work eventually.

Version 1.4  has that bug fixed.  Google for it at Macecraft.

Good luck.  Hal
