My D drive and E drive are not in My Computer???

​Hi,​

​Im using Windows XP with my Dell 8200 and for some reason when i opened up my folder called My Computer which should have all my drives and stuff it only has my A drive and C drive.Its not showing my dvd player in D drive and my burner in E drive anymore!!! So when i put something in the drives i can't open or play them.​

​I can't find a way to get to those drives...​

​Please help..​

You can also download FREE Microsoft program called TweakUI for XP+ SP1 from;
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp
Use "My Computer" > "Drives"  & check that D:  & E:  are ticked.
 
If you don't get a fix you could also try "Device Manager"  by pressing Windows+Break(pause)  keys together , select "Hardware" tab , "Device Manager"
Double click on Devices then right click & select "Uninstall"
They should be detected at next Computer start as "New Hardware".
