i have a philips micro hi-fi stereo system & am having trouble w/ the MP3 part, help please!

hi, i am trying to download the mp3 software that came with this philips stereo to put mp3 songs onto the stereo...but there is a problem when im installing it....it says this

 

the hardware you are trying to install did not pass windows compatability tests, if you continue it could impair your computer immediately or in the future.....it doesnt have that lil sticker that says designed for windows XP...but in the manual it says the OS requirements are windows XP...can someone tell me what i should do....it says i can continue anyway or stop installation....thanks a lot guys and gals!!!
