how do I add another computer to my network

I cannot seem to add my brother's computer to my home network.  I am running XP Pro on all computers.  In attempting to add this computer, I have been going through My Network Places --> Set up a home or small office network, but I already have a network established with two computers on it.  And I just want to add this third comptuer.  The way I have been trying to do it (going through My Network Places --> Set up a home or small office network) is not working for some reason.  Does anybody know what I am doing wrong.

Whenever I go to LAN parties all I have to do is change the workgroup name.  To do this rightclick on My Computer, select Properties, the click on the Computer Name tab, then you'll see a line saying "To change this computers name click "change"".  Click that and enter your new workgroup name that is used by the other computers on that network.  After you restart everything like the internet and shared folders should work.  Hope this helps you out, let me know either way.  Good luck!
