Adding 2 monitors to a docking station via VGA and DVI

Has anyone put two monitors, on a Dell Latitude D800 with a docking Station?
I have a friend that is doing  this same thing but his monitors are Dell also, my
monitors are NEC 17" flatpanels with vga connections only.
I purchased a DVI to VGA adapter to gain access to the second monitor but have had know luck
in getting it to work..

you would have to have two graphics card in it (either PCI, PCI Express or AGP card), and hook up each monitor to the VGA (or DVI) output plug on the back of your computer.  Then from Start->Settings->Control Panel->Display and the Settings tab, you will be able to click on the "2" monitor and select resolution, etc.:smileywink:
