Why is EVC enabled during VxRail cluster build?
I found it strange that Enhanced vMotion Compatibility is enabled as part of a VxRail 4.5.x cluster build. I serves no apparent purpose especially in a cluster of like ESXi hosts. All of our VxBlock clusters for example have it disabled.

The reason is so you can extend the cluster with old VxRail nodes.
You can use SolVe to change the EVC mode.
