VxRail adopts a SimShip with vSphere Release.
Please take a look at tech faq and knowledge article

Question: What is the synchronous release (commonly referred to as simultaneous
shipment or SimShip)?
Answer: There is an agreement between Dell EMC VxRail and VMware that for every
express patch, quarterly patch, and major update of ESXi and vSAN software,
VxRail will deliver a supporting software release within a pre-defined number of
days. This objective is to provide customers confidence that they can invest in
VxRail while knowing they can quickly reap the benefits of the latest software
features and promptly address security vulnerabilities identified and fixed by
VMware. Refer to this Knowledge Base article for more information.

I am waiting for the VxRail release based on 7.0.2e too. Will there eventually be a release on it? It has been so many days but still not out yet. I tried vSphere 7.0.3 in my lab. It is very disappointing. I cannot understand what happened with VMware to make the product so hard to use. I decided to stay with 7.0.2x and skip 7.0.3x.

Unfortunately, VxRail does not cover all the ESXi version released.

I don't think that VxRail will cover ESXi 7U2e in future.

By the way, ESXi patches are cumulative, so all the updates or fixes in 7U2e are generally included in U3.

Just out of curious, i wonder why you stick to the version.

Thanks for your reply. It is not like that I want to stick with 7.0.2 if the new version is working well. vCenter 7.0.3 is too ugly and hard to use. There are lots of UI issues make me have the feeling that it is still in testing stage. I am actually wondering if 7.0.3 was developed by a different group of people than 7.0.2. If there will not be a release based on ESXi 7.0U2e, there seems to be no choice then.
