Node 1 fault but it wont tell me what
Getting this hardware warning from NODE1 and I cannot seem to find out the cause or actualy problem. Here is the erro

Ya...the alerts can come from vsphere or the bmc. Check virtual center and fix/clear any alerts on node1. If there are none then log into the bmc of node1 and check/clear that log. We had an issur from the factory with a psu error in the bmc from 2016 we had to clear to get rid of a similar issue in vxrail manager.

It could be the bmc. Try a bmc reset. After reset wait approx 10 minutes and watch if the health state is healthy again.

Try this.
ssh into the node with root or elevated credentials
esxcli hardware ipmi sel clear
after completed, restart watchdog
/etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog restart
Wait a few minutes for Marvin to catch up in VxRail Manager. Alert should clear
