Yes, customers can mix VxRail Appliance models within a cluster, except where doing so would create highly unbalanced performance. All-Flash and Hybrid nodes cannot be mixed in the same cluster.

Latest VxRail 4.5.x supports a mixed configuration of Quanta, Dell 13th Generation PowerEdge, and Dell 14th Generation PowerEdge nodes in the same cluster.

Yes, but you have to have more than four nodes
