E20-260 and certificates in EMC practice questions
Hi,
I'm currently studying in order to pass exam E20-260, in the practice test, there is the following question:

During installation, the EZ Setup Wizard automatically creates certificates to be used in a VPLEX Metro configuration to create a VPN connection between the two management servers. How many certificates are created ?
In the training it is said that 2 certificates are created for VPN connection, but when i answer "2", i'm getting an error, can anyone explain how it can be answer correctly and why ? It would be greatly appreciated.
P.S: Answers possible choice are: 1, 2, 3 or 5.

Hello Christian,
During installation, the EZ Setup Wizard automatically creates three certificates to be used in a VPLEX Metro configuration to create a VPN connection between the two management servers. It creates one Certificate Authority (CA) certificate and two host certificates (one for each management server).
By default the CA certificate is set to expire after five years and the host certificates after two years. The loss of a certificate will not interfere with data traffic, however it would prevent management of the cluster to take place.
Also refer to a security-create-ca-certificate in the CLI Guide.
