Vostro 470, XMP settings, motherboard 0YJPT1

Is my Vostro 470 with Motherboard 0YJPT1 capable of XMP Bios-settings or is the DRAM3-speed limited to 1333 MHz instead of 1600 MHz? Most of DDR3-RAM-modules use XMP while the SPD-settings are at lower frequency.

If my system is not XMP-capable: Do you know any compatible DDR3-RAM-modules without XMP (with native 1600 MHz in the SPD)?

There is no overclocking capability on a Vostro. Overclocking is only available on Dell models designated as "gaming". The Vostro line is not a gaming system. Here is the Crucial memory listing for this model. Crucial is guaranteed to work in a Dell.

xmp is not a feature that you get by installing ram.

470 does not have this and never will.

Well, please two more questions:

- Crucial advertises for example  8GB DDR3-1866 UDIMM as compatible, but it seems Vostro 470 is limited to 1600 MHz? Will the 1866 MHz be downgraded to 1600 MHz? Then I suppose it's bettet to buy 1600 @ CL11 then 1866 @ CL13? Or will it take advantage of the 1866 MHz?

- All Crucial configurations run at 1,35v, but in this forum I read about 1,5v as necessary?

Kind regards and many thanks!
