The answer is Yes but it has to be a low power short card.

Discrete Option:

Nvidia GT710 2GB DDR3,

GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 and

AMD R9360 2GB GDDR5,
Nvidia GTX 745 4GB DDR3 (Post-RTS),

Nvidia GTX 1050 2GB GDDR5 (Post-RTS).

1. What does "Post-RTS" mean ?

2. Will the GTX-1050 work in Legacy-BIOS (non-UEFI), EFI (if that's a thing), and newer UEFI Windows systems as well?

3. Do you remember what GTX-1050 used to cost (street price) before the mining-craze?

Post-RTS   =  OEM microsoft Blessed CERTIFICATE IN UEFI BIOS AKA SECURE BOOT SPOKEN HERE. Power On Self Test     Ready To Start.

1050TI was $140 before the nonsense.

Also Beware of Fake Cards that claim to be 1050's that are reflashed GTX 410 cards.

Best Bang for the buck ATM is the 1030  2Gig card.

Microsoft also admits that SECURE BOOT is already Broken.

Newer systems will have CLASS 3 UEFI with NO CSM.

Older systems will have CLASS 2.3.1  Windows 8.X  UEFI and allow CSM and Legacy Option Roms.

You cannot use onboard video when a card is installed.

To get VGA on a 1030 requires an HDMI to vga adapter.

GDDR3 DDR4 GDDR5 is not relevant to working.

IT IS relevant to performance.

You DO NOT Want a DDR3 or DDR4 card which would be horribly slow.

The GDDR5 GT1030 card works fine.

Any NON DELL cards will require SECURE BOOT OFF and Legacy Option Roms ON.

The DELL OEM GT1030 is 8CCF1

(Post-RTS) Post Release to Shipping and requires SECURE BOOT OFF and legacy option roms ON.

DELL 8CCF1  GT1030 has dell certificate in bios so it will post without any special settings. When an after-market graphics card is installed into a motherboard with UEFI enabled in the system BIOS, or if the system Has Windows Secure Boot enabled, the system may not boot.
