@DELL-Josh Cr

Thanks a lot
DELL-Josh Cr,
in fact I removed and then put back the mmcs1 management module located on director1.
Currently it works.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

Can you reboot the MMCS from the 2nd one?

How do I power cycle an MMCS?

  1. Prior to performing the Power Cycling of a MMCS (especially MMCS1) it is important to verify if there are any scripts that are running via Simplified Symmwin Tasks or in Symmwin under scripts.
    • NOTE: An MMCS that is powered on with anything in its USB port (thumb drive, keyboard, mouse, etc.) may not boot, even when the LED looks like it is fully inserted and running. The USB port must be empty for the MMCS to boot and begin its proper functions.
  2. Login to the MMCS peer that you will be using to power cycle and open Symmwin -> Tools -> Environmental Tools
  3. In the search window type minisp

when the search completes the following screen will appear. Double Click on Other: Other control tools - mini SP power, shutdown SPS

Select Control Peer SP Power

Once selected the screen below shows you the options. Select Power CYCLE.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
