SRM 4.0.1 to 4.2.1 hung during upgrade

This upgrade has be hung for over 12 hours.  It error that I saw was

WARNING: A more recent version of the module-manager is available. It is strongly recommended to upgrade it before anything else.

But can I stop the upgrade, to upgrade these managers first?

Hi EMCULATER ,

That module-manager warning is expected and can usually be ignored during the upgrade process; however the fact that the upgrade hasn't moved in 12hrs is a problem.

Use the vmware console to see if the host that are still preparing for the upgrade are stuck on the reboot screen, if so ctrl+c and the host will boot up.

The upgrade might continue as normal, however since its been a while it might have timed out... if that's the case open a service request with support an we will walk you trough completing the upgrade.

regards,

Isaka
