Use IPMItool with replaced controller
Hi all,
We have follow this tutorial to replace a faulty Unity controller.

After swapping controllers we are not able to access SOL (Serial Over Lan) port using IPMITool due to an incorrect password so I suspect the password is associated to the controller not to the system. As this is a replacement unit we don't have the IPMI password that usually appears on the front label of the cabinet. Does anyone have any procedure to recover SOL password?

What we don't have is "Unity_serial_number" or "console" password to access ipmi

Hello jtejada.ralco,
You will need the serial# or the service tag in order to change the password.
