Technically, Dell did not test/validate the S series monitors with Apple. Read = FAQ Dell monitor and Apple
Prior to purchasing, read through the S3423DWC threads on the Apple Forum.

@suking The P series is also not on the supported list in the FAQ Dell monitor and Apple
