It's dead! Please HELP-it's urgent

I got a Venue 8 last October and wound up not using it for several months.  Now when I tried to recharge it (2 days on one outlet and 3 on another)......... nothing.

My warranty runs out in 8 days.  I can't seem to find a phone # for direct support.

Pretty Simple.  I finally found the support #  and spoke to a tech who said to ship it to them and they would fix it.  It still had some warranty left.
