racadm - Get XML file with clone flag for use to configure other servers
In a recent online chat the below statement was made, however I can't find docuemtnation for the --clone flag when getting the XML file using remote racadm. Is there an example of the proper syntax? I'm using
racadm -r servername -u username -p password get -t xml -f filemane.xml (have tried various --clone and -clone flags all failing)
DavidSchmidt_at_Dell: Set up your first server the way you want it...use the racadm tool to get the file, but use the --clone flag and it will format the xml file for replication to other servers
DavidSchmidt_at_Dell: That means it will remove the identity information from the file

The feature is not yet available in iDRAC7(1.40.40) and will be available in the next iDRAC release which is in December.
Thanks and Regards
