Dell Poweredge T320 IDRAC license missing

Hi all.

This is my first post and if I asked a question in the wrong topic, I apologize in advance.

At a charity auction for a symbolic price, we purchased a Dell Poweredge T320 server with 16 GB of memory and two hard drives of 1 TB each. It turned out that the server does not have an Idrac7 corporate license.
What to do? How to restore the license and update the drivers on the motherboard?

It's secondhand Dell T320 server? You can ask for it from the seller directly.

Hi @soliton_d,

You may need to verify from the seller if the server has iDRAC Enterprise license.

You will need to do complete the ownership transfer, in order for the support to be able to assist you if the server has the iDRAC Enterprise license. We can generate the license file to enable iDRAC Enterprise functionality and send to owner's email. Hence, it is important to complete the ownership transfer.

Gentlemen, thank you very much for your answers.
It turned out that this is not the first vendor, and as soon as I have more complete information about the first owner of this server, I will let you know the details. Given the summer holidays, I think within the next week I will be able to contact him.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find the previous owners. It turned out that I was either the fifth or sixth “owner” of the specified server. Before me, the three “owners” were limited liability companies. They went bankrupt and I could not find any founders or directors.
The only thing I can tell you is the service tag: <removed by mod>.

What to do? How to restore the IDRAC 7 license and update the drivers on the motherboard?

Hello, as far as I checked from the service tag, this server did not come with iDRAC enterprise license. Maybe a later personal license was used. You can see it in the product specification section here. https://dell.to/44PV8BZ You can still update the firmware and driver of your server. Please see the link here. https://dell.to/44PV8Sv

Good afternoon gentlemen, I was sick and didn’t show up.

I looked through the links you sent me and I have new questions:

1) What should I download so that I can connect to iDRAC 7 through a browser? All browsers, except Falcon (Linux), when trying to connect, report the old SSL protocol and refuse to connect. With the help of Falcon I manage to pass authentication, but on the next page it also stops working and I cannot connect via iDRAC 7 to the technical support server, from where I can download the necessary drivers and firmware.
I think this is my main problem at this stage, since the server currently only has two 1 TB hard drives and 16 GB of server memory.

2) I tried to insert different video cards into the motherboard, mainly NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 with and without a fan, but the motherboard does not see them? Which firmware should I download?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
