Enabling C Bit Flag Director with hosts online
What is the impact to host , actually the AIX / Veritas Cluster has 2 different serial numbers at the Veritas Volume Manager to the same symmetrix device.
I know that i can enable online the flag , but i don´t know what can happen to the production host.

If it's an AIX host it will most likely pick the devices up as new devices and mark the old one as defined as soon as a cfgmgr is run. It would therefore not be recommended to do this with the host online.
