Aurora R12, SA fails to install "critical" Intel updates
One month old Aurora R12 - SA (SupportAssist) keeps on telling me that I need to perform the following "critical update":
-------------------------------
Intel AX411/AX211/AX210/AX200/AX201/9260/9560/9462 Wi-Fi UWD Driver
This package contains the driver for the Intel AX411, AX211, AX210, AX201, AX200, 9560, 9260, and 9462 wireless cards. Wireless drivers help your operating system to communicate with wireless devices such as wireless cards and network interface controllers.
Version: 22.150.1.1
Category: Network
Release Date: August 05, 2022
Last Updated:
Importance: Urgent
File Format:
File Name: Intel-AX411-AX211-AX210-AX200-AX201-9260-9560-9462_G3RRK_WIN_22.150.1.1_A41.EXE
File size: 86.13 MB
-----------------------
However, it always fails. SA says "We encountered an error while updating the driver. Restart your PC, and try again", which is what I done at least 4 times. Is this critical update needed as I don't use WiFi on my R12 (CAT6 cable @ 1GB)?
If so, any idea how to get around this failure?

Download the driver directly from this location: Aurora R12 drivers
That should take care of that problem.

Thanks ... I also received an E-mail from DELL pointing me to the update. I downloaded it and it worked. Somehow it always failed when using "SupportAssist".

UPDATE - The installation worked BUT the driver version is not right. Per Dell's site, Device Manager for "Killer(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i, 160 MHz Wireless Network Adapter" should say driver version "22.150.1.1" (A41), but it says that I have version "22.130.0.5".
So, per Device Manager it's not the right version. I installed it twice and rebooted twice.
Here is the .xml extract:
