Specify Disk Group when creating Logical Device

Question

AFAIK the only way to do this is without involving a CE is via symconfigure, is this correct? whenever I use ECC (5.2) to create a LUN I don't seem to have control over which disk group the LUN is formed from, I suppose the symm is doing its magic in the backend to determine where to pull the drives from.
