Unable to Format Dell Mentor USB
I work for a company that orders allot of laptops and we keep receiving the Win10 Editions of the MentorMedia USB drives, they always come write-protected and no amount of cmd properties clearing or formatting can seem to bypass this lock.
I started looking into low-level formatting, at this link here http://www.techunboxed.com/2016/09/how-to-disable-write-protection-on-dell.html
and found that this also was unsuccessful, it seems i might be missing the required drivers for the usb stick but I'm not sure if that's the case.
honestly, we have so many and with them being 16GB and relatively high quality I would hate to throw them away but that's the choice I'm left with at the moment. if anyone can shed some light on whats going on that would be great.
here is the software and the error it throws up

I have exactly the same problem nothing worked good for us either diskpart or any other solution. We have couple of USB sticks that came with laptops and since there is no need for recovery to use them it would be a shame to throw them away. they can be used for some sort of backup but still write protected...
