ESRS via Storage Processors
Trying to figure out ESRS. I would like to keep the configuration as simple as possible.
Initially, I was thinking "just" the ESRS gateway non-clustered.
After doing some research. It looks as if we can configure ESRS directly within the Storage Processor.
I just finished the VNX5200 implementation and it did have the ESRS configuration link. I was under the impression you still needed the gateway.
Can anyone confirm if this is possible? ESRS directly via the Storage Processors.

Hello
ESRS embedded device client on Storage Processor is supported for following OE:
5.32.000.5.215 and later
05.33.000.5.074 and later
If supported OE, you will find Manage ESRS by "Selecting your system and from the task list, under Service Tasks, select Manage ESRS."

Yes , agree with Mana.ix ESRS embedded on the storage processor with individual connect home feature, or if you want, the ESRS IP Client Management Station (same as sp but a standalone monitoring connect home server that has ESRS and monitoring software and add your Clariions and VNX to it for monitoring. But SP's individual is simple
