Replication stop when message : Receiver requested new sender config(replistor 6.4 SP2 HF5)
Hello,
I've some pb with replication uder Replistor 6.4 SP2 HF5.
When the server receive the next message : "Receiver requested new sender config", all replications are stopped and the counter "kernel log count" is blocked. (no back to a normal situation)
I must do a "delete data directory" to fix it and the replication restart OK.... I make replications every day and the pb comes once per week.
This pb desn't exist with the version 6.4 SP2 but I don't have the sources in x64.
Someone could help me, please?
Thank's

Hi,
As the first step, 180 seconds is a reasonable value.
If you encounter the same phenomenon further, you must reconsider the bandwidth of the network.
>Shall I do on all my servers or only on the server who supports the specifications?
It's better to align the source and target values.
>What is the conséquences for this new value?
This is the heartbeat interval between the source and target rep_srv.exe.
If it has heavy load of the network, a heartbeat may be delayed.
It avoid an error by increasing heartbeat distance.
>And what about from the Options/Advanced TCP/IP Heartbeat timout?
TCP/IP is the Ping interval between the source and target.
>Shall i do change the value too?
You will not need to change this.

Thank's for the anwser,
I already changed the value at 180 seconds... I can change this value again to 240s but do you think it's enough?
Shall I do on all my servers or only on the server who supports the specifications?
What is the conséquences for this new value?

Hi,
>”Receiver requested new sender config”
Workaround
Increase the "I'm Alive Rcv" value (Options/Time Limits) to higher value.
The default value is 120 seconds.
Make this value large enough so that when RepliStor is processing an incremental sync of the largest file, it can do it within the time limit provided.
