Questions about RecoverPoint
Hi team,
I need to install RecoverPoint to replicate data between VNX5300 and UNITY. For this I need two SE licenses. Where should I get these licenses? Is there an EMC site to request these licenses online ?
I have a second question about VNX splitter. I believed this enabler was provided by Local or Remore Protection Suite. However, our customer does not have it on these CDs. Browsing this forum it looks like this enabler is only available for EMC engineers or partners. We are gold partners and have contacted our local EMC team by email. A week ago, and no response to our questions.
Can someone on this forum enlighten me?

You get a temporary license when you install. If you want the full license then you will need to purchase them.

Hello Sam,
I don't need a full license, I will implement replication between VNX and a UNITY. As describe in the installation procedure, I need to install RecoverPoint CL but use RecoverPoint SE licence to replicate between VNX and UNITY. Where can I request SE license that is free of charge ?
Where can partners download VNX splitter enabler ? Our customer had local and remote protection suite (When he had 2 VNX. Today, one of them has been replaced by UNITY), but this splitter is not available on these medias.

Try using the dell digital locker https://dell.to/3fU7wZK and see if the download for the splitter is there, it may also be on the VNX download page if you are logged in. The partner portal may also have the downloads you need. https://dell.to/3muqBEm

1) Splitter in Unity is built-in, no need to install anything
2) if you're migrating from VNX to Unity, then a temp EX license (for all arrays) would be required to facilitate more than one array per RP cluster. This temp EX license and permanent SE license can be obtained via an SR to support
