Configuring CDP for existing CRR CG - while DR test in progress
Hi All,
I have requirement to configure CDP for local copy of the existing CG where CRR is in place. Any suggestions on this is highly appreciated.
my query is,
1. The existing CRR CG is in testing phase - direct access given to remote copy (DR drill in progress) - will it allow to add CDP copy.
2. since DR drill in progress existing CRR CG is in paused state, can we able to sync the CDP copy at this stage.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. Which version are you using? Can you wait for the DR test to finish before making changes?

Thanks for checking on this... current RP version is 5.1SP2. we are using CDP copy for migration from old array to new array, this CG is around 35TB and we are getting close (just have 5 days) to cutover window.

Thanks, we have not validated doing this. It may work, but it is untested. I don’t think control action regulation will prevent it. Page 250 https://dell.to/3CNPRQQ

Thanks for your replay... I have recreated the scenerio with TEST luns and it worked well.. currently on production CG also have configured CDP copy... hope there should not be any surprises at the time of cutover.
