Cannot protect Vms

Hi all,

I installed the very latest version of RP4VM 5.2SP2 but I cannot protect the VM's through the plugin console.

At the end of the process I have this pop-up error :

"INTERNAL_ERROR"

Everything is green...

Cannot see anything in the logs also.

Any Idea ?
Thank you

Bingo - please upgrade the plugin via the plugin help menu. Then logout and log into the web client and verify that the plugin is also running 5.2.2.

Finally, retry protection.

Idan

It depends on a number of reasons but I would start with powering on the VM(s) to be protected, granted it's powered off.

Patrick,

Make sure that the plugin is running the same version as the vRPAs.

Feel free to contact me offline or further troubleshoot.

Hi Idan,

Sorry for the late reply.

I installed vRP4VM 5.2SP2 m.128

Splitters version on the 8 nodes of the Vsphere Cluster is : RP-Splitter RPESX-00.5.2.2.0.0.m.128.000 EMC_Recoverpoint PartnerSupported

If I check the plugin version in the "Help" section I have

RecoverPoint for VMs Plugin version 5.2.0.3 (a.412)

Regards

Thanks Bro, you saved my RP4VM environment. Just in case which have same problem, just login to your vCenter Server via vSphere Web Client then pointing to RecoverPoint for VM Plug in. - On Dashboard you can see on the right top see "Help" Option - About - Upgrade - Choose the latest Plugin version which is 5.2.2.0. - Logout from vSphere Web Client - Then login again and check on VM want to replicate until finish. - Voila ! Cheers !
