EMC Certification, which one is best regarded ?

Dear All,

I have done EMCISA-v2 and now wants to have another EMC Storage certification. I have worked on VNX-1 & VNX-2 Gen, VMAX-20k, DMX and Isilon Clusters. I want to know which certification will help me as of now for a career boom perspective ? Please suggest..

Thanx

Rakesh

Welcome to the EMC Proven Professional community Rakesh! The EMC Proven Professional certification program is designed as a role based program because we view certification as representation of readiness to perform a role. A role based program takes into account a number of factors that are unique to a specific role. Within each role (i.e. EMCIE), it is possible to build upon previously earned certifications by moving through our Associate, Specialist and Expert certifications.

While we cannot provide career guidance, you can review our education and certification offerings and consider which technologies and roles interest you.

Course if any of our more seasoned professionals want to comment on some of the up & coming areas that might interest someone new to the industry, I'm sure Rakesh would find your insights helpful

Thoughts anyone?

Thank you Debi for your suggestion. How about getting certification on Isilon and its Scope ? One more thing, can you please also confirm that if I want to go for any Expert level certification do I need to follow precedence order i.g. Associate > Specialist > Expert or can I go directly for Expert level ??

Thnx

To achieve an Expert level certification, you will need to follow the Learning Path for that track, which means you will need to achieve any Specialist level certification before you can achieve an Expert level certification.

Thanks kate. So I can't move to Expert before Specialist that's not fare.
