White Spots all over Screen

Purchased a DELL 1510X Projector on 12/31/2012 which was delivered on 1/3/2013.  Has less than 1000 hrs on the bulb and has developed white & black spots all over the screen.  It started as 3 or 4 white spots, which were almost bearable, now the picture is unwatchable.

I've tried 6 different source devices using every input on the projector., I've replaced the bulb with a new one and I have replaced the power cord.  What next Dell?

I have a 2009 Dell 4210x projector. It started with a few white dots and now is spreading to more white dots and also black dots. The pixels are either white or dark. I was told it was a DMD chip which costs about $400 to repair. It looks like it is a common problem with dell dlp projectors. Good luck! Mine started with only 146 hours. I also tried changing lamps!

I purchased a Dell 4210x projector used a few months ago. When I received it, there were now white dots. After a few hours of use whit dots started appearing below the image (using as 16:9 aspect ratio.) Once it started the dots have been appearing about 2-3 per hour. Is there a trick the seller might have used to make the white dots go away temporarily? It is odd that there where none and then they began appearing so quickly. I could understand a few showing up in this time but there are now about 50 of them over about 20 hours usage..

WE bought a Dell 4210x projector and had about 186 hours when the dots appeared. They said it was a chip going bad and would cost $400 to $500 to repair. Wont buy another product. Always something going wrong with their projectors, laptops, etc. We borrowed an Epson LCD projector with same Lumens and cheaper price and it makes the Dell look like a piece of ***! Go with an LCD!!!! The Dell DLP is a problem projector!
