Dell 926 driver and Windows 10
Ok, I have read thru previous responses and gone thru several of the steps numerous times. I am just too old for the . Does anyone know if I take my mini desktop into the store, will they be able to upload the driver for me?

Our apologies, but this 10 year old printer was never validated for Windows 10? Without a dedicated Windows 10 driver, it may not function at all.

I have no guarantee this will work. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and my printer, which was already installed, works without issues.
The information listed below works for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, so it may also work for Windows 10.
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).

The driver needed to install the DELL 926 Printer in English is R150575.exe. It can be found at: Dell Photo All-in-One Printer 926, A01 | Driver Details | Dell Australia. Be sure to power on the printer and unplug the USB cord from the computer. The program will tell you when to plug it in. I am Dell User
