C1765nfw firmware trouble

I always check for new updates to all my dell products (Laptops and printers). As they come out I try to update then.

A few days ago, I seen that there was a new firmware update for my C1765nfw printer that I have not done yet. So, I updating it.

Using my laptop with USB connect to run the firmware update. Everything when fine and show that it was good when done.

But now since I did that update. My printer will not print anything not even a test page. It beeps and shows a message on the display.

"PLJ Request, 016-749 Printer Data Violation. Press green check mark."

Have look on internet and websites about “PLJ” but cannot find a fix for my problem.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem or if there are away to reset the printer back?

Thanks for any help…

supert1,

Download and re-install the Windows drivers for the printer.

Thank you Jesse L,

After a few times of uninstall and reinstall drives both through Device Mgr. and Print Mgr. And rebooting.

I was able to get the printer to print and test page and a page from a website. Thanks very much for help... You Rock!!! , 101 basic start that the beginning? I should have know.. I use to be a computer tech for the Military. And find half the time the problem was always between chair and keyboard..

Thanks
