Precision 5520 - Unable to install Windows (10 nor 11) on M2

Hi team, glad to know you all and hope you can help me with this.

Long story short: I am unable to install Windows 10 or Windows 11 on my Dell Precision 5520 with M2 SSD hard drive, however, Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) works like a charm.

Long Story

The asset: Purchased a pre-owned Precision 5520 without hard drive and RAM, so installed 32 GB of RAM (2x16) and a compatible M2 hard drive. Upgraded the BIOS to latest version (1.33), and then enabled UEFI, Secure Boot, and TPM (Custom Mode with All Keys deleted) as recommended in this forum.

LMDE: With this setup, I was able to install LMDE which worked like a charm from A-to-Z.

Windows 10: Downloaded Windows 10 deom Dell, specifying my ServiceTAG (Private Information Removed) and tried to install all of the 6 options offered by Dell for my ServiceTAG, and all of them failed with the same results as in the following screenshot:

Windows 11: Downloaded from Microsoft site with same results!
From my point of view, the problem remains on the M2 hard disk which is not recognized by windows installer.
Any help that you can provide is highly appreciated, I really need to get this running on Windows since I need Microsoft Teams running full of features.
Best regards.

This YouTube video may help. Also try another USB port. The file you need can be found here.

@PPC9090 Yes this applies to any number of systems and not just Dell. I had to use this procedure on a home built I had a few years ago. Also if you have more than one HDD/SSD in the system it may help if you disconnect/remove all but the intended boot drive and then install Windows.

Check in BIOS settings and set SATA operation mode to AHCI prior to Windows installation.

Hi there. Just to let  you know that I'm still unable to get this done. And btw, @Chino de Oro, I checked the BIOS and SATA was already in AHCI.

@Lechu77 That is a bit of a surprise. Did you have any trouble adding the driver to the Windows installation USB drive?
