Any fix for Dell Precision 7000 7670 overheating?

Dell Precision 7000 7670 overheating to extreme temperatures within one week of purchase. This occurred in the morning after being connected to power overnight. Upon waking up the machine it became so hot, it could have caused a burn. The laptop wouldn’t respond to a power down so we set it on a fan until it cooled enough to perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds then reconnecting to power and pressing the power button again. It took about 10 minutes for the laptop to do a complete reboot. After seeing these comments I’m very concerned that I’ve made a poor choice.

I noticed many complaints in 2023 about this same issue and the only fix seemed to be disabling the turbo in bios. I’m not a computer geek- I work in anesthesia. I bought two of these several weeks ago for my office staff. Have you found a solution for this since it appears to have been an issue for over a year with multiple other customers?  If not- I expect a hassle free full refund.  Please contact me quickly. I don’t have time to be dealing with this.
