Will the GTX 1050 Ti work with my Dell Precision T3400?
This one in particular, I'm looking to replace the GT 630 I have. I tried a GTX 780 and there was no video output

Hi @xdbc,
GTX 1050 wasn't on the list.
Supported GPU's:
Support for two PCI Express x16 graphics cards up to 300 watts and with up to 768MB graphics memory including: NVIDIA Quadro® FX 4600; NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700; NVIDIA Quadro® FX 570; NVIDIA Quadro® NVS 290; All graphics cards support dual monitor configurations.
I don't know if you have:
Dell Precision T3400 Spec. Sheet pdf
Dell Precision T3400 Manual pdf
Another Dell Community reference if interested: Precision T3400 GPU

Since a 1080TI works fine with an XPS 400 I see no reason why not.
The only issue I see is that Neither the 3400 or 3500 support SLI.
They both support Crossfire with Older ATI cards like the HD 5770.
None of the older dells support UEFI only R series based ATI cards Like the RX460 for example because they do not support DOS VESA video mode 103.
