DDAI / DPAI Is it real available? [Dell Digital audio interface or also called Dell Professional Audio Interface)
On the Dell website for the Dell workstation Precision 5820. link: https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/workstations-isv-certified-dell/precision-5820-desktop-tower-workstation/spd/precision-5820-workstation In the middle of the web-page underneath "Blazing fast performance" there is a picture of the 5820 ("exploded"). you can select 4 pictures (the 4 little grey selection squares). If you click the 4th grey square there is a picture of the DPAI "Dell professional Audio Interface" with following text "capable of handling enhanced video and audio editing. Does anyone know whether this device is real. If yes, what is the order number (link) and price?

I think you mean this. No idea what Part number is. It may not actually exist yet. @DELL-Chris M
Looks very similar to Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 Gen2 (usb3)
or TASCAM US-2x2 USB Audio Interface

Any news on this product? I can't find anything listed anywhere regarding this. I would love this product in my tower.

I have a recording studio. Lots of good USB audio interfaces available from inexpensive to more expensive "pro quality". But, you get what you pay for in most cases.

So it exists... nice finding ( the auction page ).
What I don't understand is it having a sata connector (not just power) on the back ?

Just the power SATA cable no DATA SATA comes with a cable to jam into MB of selected Dell equipment or others one might hack. Dell has an install video on Youtube.

Yep,
but the data connector on the pic looks wired. There are plenty of sata power connectors used on boards to deliver power, and usually the engineering team doesn't spend time using a board that offers also data.
Unless this was cheaper than having the data connector removed , but it's still strange, for me

Mmm at least 2 posts were removed.
the one with the link to the auction is no more
The one I put just after making my latest comment, with the link to a dell youtube video similar to the other one posted now was removed, too
Whoever is moderating , can restore them ? because I doubt either were in violation of something...
