ME5024 with Samsung PM1643a
Hi everyone,
I have an ME5024 array with 12x Samsung PM1643a RI Series disks (Model number: MZILT960HBHQ0D3)
They are currently on firmware DSA3.
I believe DSA4 has been available for some time but I am unable to find this. There is an update within A31_ME_Series_HDD_Firmware_with_ReadMe.zip published back in 07 Dec 2022 that has a readme.txt file stating
28.0 Samsung PM1643a RI Series 2.5" SSD version DSA4**
Model # Criticality File Name
--------------------- ------------- ----------------------------
MZILT960HBHQ0D3 Recommended DSA4.bin
But the DSA4.bin file is not within the zip file, it does not exist. This readme.txt file shows DSA4 with matching model number for this drive.
Is anyone able to point me to the right place?

Hello,
I have not DSA4 fw file directly. But I should explain some important note: Updated firmware DAS4 or DWA4 is available for these Samsung SSD drive models that is not included in Dell PowerVault ME Series Storage HDD/SSD Firmware package. To prevent application of the incorrect firmware, administrators must contact your local Dell technical support to obtain the drive update package.

Other than that I found this link for FW Samsung PM1643a drives for FW DSA4 for model numbers:MZILT960HBHQ0D3, MZILT1T9HBJR0D3, MZILT3T8HBLS0D3, MZILT7T6HALA0D3, MZILT15THALA0D3.

@DELL-Erman O Ok thank you it looks like Dell support needs to be contacted for the firmware to be upgraded on this drive model. I will contact Dell for the update package.
The FW for other OS (Windows/Linux) are no use as I am not using either OS with these drives.
