Powerpath Monitor with iSCSI

Should I only be seeing 1 adapter (Microsoft iSCSI Initiator) within powerpath monitor? I am using 2 NICs on different subnets, each connected to 2 NICs on the Clariion. Server is Windows 2003 SP2. I'm used to seeing the 2 adapters listed when using FC adapters.

To answer your question. the adapter showign up in the powerpath gui is the microsoft iscsi initiator. the nics are not the "initiator" here , think of them as just paths. the item logging into the storage array as the "initiator" is the microsoft iscsi initiator service.  if you had iscsi hba's then each iscsi hba would then be able to login seperately to the array, thus not using the microsoft iscsi initiator. if that were the case and you have say 2 or 4 iscsi hbas then you would see 2 or 4 adapters in ppath. hope this helps explain .

Thanks. That makes sense.
