Powerpath Errors 2?

OS windows 2003 SP1, Powerpath 5.0.094

Powerpath Administrator-Console Root- EMC PowerPath Admin - Disks - Disk 000
Errors 2
...

For each disks Error is 2.

I do not know what does it means is 2 errors (if it is for how long) or it generates errors ID = 2? Where I could get some info relating to that error?

Hi. If you are referring to the error count in the PowerPath console or the powermt display command, your answer can be found in the "EMC PowerPath Family CLI and System Messages Reference Guide" located on Powerlink.

An excerpt:
"Total number of times this path transitioned from alive to dead. This is always equal to or less than the total number of HBA I/O path errors. Note that the error count may be different for different LUNs using the same physical paths. This value is cleared at boot time or when powermt restore executes.
On PowerPath Windows 4.5.0 and later, PowerPath periodic autorestore, which is performed automatically whenever Plug and Play takes a device offline or brings a device back online, does not clear the error count."

I hope this helps.
