Determing how many ESX hosts PowerPath/VE is installed on

We are using "served" licensing for PowerPath/VE.  Our VMware admin has been installing PowerPath/VE in our environment.  Since the license server loses track of what it has licensed over time, I need a way to "easily" identify which servers have PowerPath/VE installed.  Anyone know of a way to do this through ESX WITHOUT going to each individual sever manually?

Thanks,

Will S.

The best way to solve this problem is to use "PowerPath vApp" which is a VM-based virtual appliance. It  is completely free  for all PP/VE customers. It will take care of all your licensing management and administration needs ( including the problem you mentioned). Please follow the following steps:

1. Go to support.emc.com

2. Type " PowerPath vApp"

3. Download the latest .ova file (1.2 P03) and install it.

4. Download the 1.2 release notes and admin guide for your reference.

Hope this helps .
