VMware Storage Policy for vVol over PowerMAX SLO

PowerMAX 8500 configured for Storage Containers to support vVol with SLO (storage containers creation didn't allow to create SC without SLO). Hence, optimized was selected, however, the VMware policy creation for vVol listed all available powermax storage SLO's as storage policy to choose. There was no option as None or anything neutral. 

will the VMware Storage Policy conflict with the PowerMAX SLO value? 

Or, it will disregard the VMware policy selection over the defined SLO on PowerMAX.

Please advise.
