R420 beeping constantly
I know my PERC battery is low/degraded and needs to be replaced - is there a way to silence the beeping coming from the server until I can replace it? PE R420, idrac7 - the beeping is 2 beeps every 30 seconds or so. I've tried looking through racadm and idrac GUI (which seems very slow for some reason) but didn't see a way to silence/acknowledge the beeps. Any help greatly appreciated.

I believe it is possible to silence the alarm with OpenManage. If you access OpenManage and expand the storage section, select the controller, select information/configuration from the top, then from the controller "Available Tasks" drop down you should see "Silence Alarm". Select that and then it should stop the alarm.
