Issues with Booting from Veeam Recovery Media on PowerEdge R7525
Hello,
Trying to perform a Bare Metal Recovery on one of our powerEdge R7525 server. But it's getting stuck at the windows boot screen. Troubleshooting done so far:
1. Tried installing Server2019 and it was successful.
2. Mounted the Veeam ISO on virtual media on IDRAC and physical USB and boot, but failed both times.
3. Tried running the recovery media on a different server (PowerEdge R730xd) and was able to successfully restore the server.
So seems like the Veeam recovery media is only having issues booting on the affected server (powerEdge R7525).
Please let me know if I need to do something differently.
Thanks.

Hello,
I'm not too familiar with Veeam but I do have a few things to check.
Check you Boot Mode: UEFI or BIOS on the R730XD and see if it is the same on the R7525.
Do you get any errors on boot or no boot as it is?
Other difference:
R730xd is Intel
R7525 is AMD
Do you have another server with AMD you could try it on?
Make sure there are no issues on the R7525 by booting to LifeCycle controller <F10> and run the embedded diagnostics.
